After a logo redesign, Towson University still needed to figure out the rest of their brand language. With a lot of discussion in the logo phase on the connection to the calvert pattern within the Maryland flag, this became the jumping off point for the next chapter of their visual story. It was important to create a new interpretation of this pattern, because it seems that every institution, not just schools, want to include something from the Maryland flag. Using the shapes from the TU monogram as the foundation, the new ‘Tigertooth’ pattern was created. Bold, versatile and unique, it can be used everywhere from diecuts and decals, to stripes and dividers.
